Over 140 miles / 230 km in 4 days!
One of our Trustees Angie Beard is taking on the challenge of cycling from the coast to coast of England.
Arriving in Newcastle on Day 1, the team will transfer to Whitehaven on the Cumbrian coast.
The cycle ride will leave from Whitehaven the next day, heading east across the Lake District, Cumbria and the North Pennines.
The end of the journey will cross the Millennium Bridge in Newcastle before arriving in Tynemouth on Day 5.
Whitehaven to Threlkeld 37 miles / 60kms
Threlkeld to Alston 42 miles / 67kms
Alston to Parkhead 25 miles / 40kms
Parkhead to Tynemouth 38 miles / 61kms
